Why people choose this generator

Lightest in Its Class at 33 lb: The MXR2350 is one of the lightest 1800W+ inverter generators available. At 33 lb with a compact suitcase enclosure and integrated carry handle, it loads into a truck bed, fits in an RV storage bay, and carries to a campsite without strain. Most competitors in this wattage range run 47–55 lb.
Genuinely Quiet at 58 dB: At 58 dB in Eco mode, the MXR2350 operates at roughly the volume of a normal conversation. That’s quiet enough for campground use, backyard gatherings, and running overnight without bothering neighbors. The Eco mode adjusts engine speed to match the load — less noise, less fuel, longer runtime.
Safe for Sensitive Electronics: Pure sine wave output delivers the clean power laptops, CPAP machines, Starlink routers, and televisions require. You’re not risking your equipment the way you would with a conventional generator.
Parallel Ready Out of the Box: The MXR2350 ships with parallel cables included. Connect two units to double your output to 3600W — useful if you need more power down the road without buying a larger generator upfront.

Good to know before you buy

What can a 1800 watt inverter generator run

A 1800 running watt inverter generator like the MXR2350 handles essentials well: laptop, phone charging, CPAP machine, LED lighting, a small fan, Starlink or router, and a small portable fridge — all at once. For camping and tailgating, it comfortably powers a full setup. It’s not designed for high-draw appliances like air conditioners, microwaves, or power tools, but it excels at everything that needs clean, quiet power.

Not sure if it covers your exact setup? Call 314-833-8000 and we’ll walk through your load before you buy.
How parallel capability works

Two MXR2350 units can be connected in parallel using the included parallel cables to effectively double your output to 3600W running / 4700W peak. This is a smart option if you think you may need more power in the future — buy one now and add a second later rather than stepping up to a heavier, louder generator today.

What Eco mode does

Eco mode adjusts engine speed automatically to match the actual load instead of running at full throttle continuously. This reduces fuel consumption, lowers noise, and extends runtime significantly. Use it whenever you’re running a light load. Turn it off when starting higher-draw devices.

Runtime explained

Up to 5 hours at 25% load covers lighter essential use — charging, lights, router, and a small fridge running in Eco mode.

Fuel consumption increases at higher loads. Running multiple devices simultaneously will reduce runtime below the rated estimate. The 1.06 gal tank is efficient for its size — plan refuels accordingly for extended use.

What the MXR2350 can run

1800 running watts / 2350 peak watts. Startup watts draw higher current for 1–2 seconds when a motor starts. Plan around running watts for sustained use.

Camping & outdoor use

Box Fan 100 100
LED Lighting 100 100
CPAP Machine 50 60
Phone / Laptop Charging 100 150
Router / Wi-Fi / Starlink 60 75
The MXR2350 is best suited for essential home backup — keeping the fridge running, lights on, and devices charged. For higher-draw backup needs like sump pumps, AC units, or well pumps, consider the MXR4800IE or MXR6250IE.

Let’s talk about MXR +
The MXR Story

MXR is produced by MaXpeedingrods, an engineering company founded in 2006 that builds performance and power equipment for real-world use. Operating under IATF 16949 quality management systems — the same standard used by automotive manufacturers — MaXpeedingrods has served over 4 million customers worldwide.

The MXR2350 was engineered around a simple priority: make a genuinely portable 1800W inverter generator that doesn’t compromise on power quality. At 33 lb with a 79.7cc copper-wound motor, it achieves clean pure sine wave output in a package light enough to carry anywhere. Parallel cables are included in the box — not sold separately — so you can double your output to 3600W without any additional purchases.

MXR generators carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty with free lifetime technical support. Durvy Supply provides direct support from Union, Missouri. Call or email us any time before or after your purchase.

Frequently asked questions

Output & Power

What is the difference between 2350 peak watts and 1800 running watts?
Peak watts (2350W) is the maximum surge the generator handles for 1–2 seconds when a motor starts. Running watts (1800W) is what it sustains continuously. Plan your total load around running watts, not peak.
Is this generator safe for sensitive electronics?
Yes. The MXR2350 produces pure sine wave output — the same quality of power you get from your home utility. Laptops, CPAP machines, Starlink, televisions, and routers are all safe to connect.
What outlets does the MXR2350 have?
The control panel includes 2x 120V 20A outlets (NEMA 5-20R), 2x USB ports (5V — 1A and 2.1A), and 1x 12V DC outlet.

Parallel & Operation

Can two MXR2350 units run in parallel?
Yes. Two MXR2350 units connected in parallel effectively double the output to 3600W running / 4700W peak. Parallel cables are included in the box — no additional purchase required.
What is Eco mode and when should I use it?
Eco mode automatically adjusts engine speed to match the load. Use it for lighter loads — it extends runtime, reduces fuel consumption, and lowers noise. Turn it off when starting high-draw devices.

Setup & Fuel

Does the generator come with oil?
No. The MXR2350 ships without engine oil. Before the first start, add 330 ml of SAE 10W-30 oil on a level surface. Running it without oil will cause engine damage not covered under warranty.
What fuel does it take?
Unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol. For storage, run the fuel system dry or use a fuel stabilizer to prevent carburetor issues.

Safety & Compliance

Does it have low-oil protection?
Yes. The MXR2350 includes low oil auto-shutdown and a low oil LED alert. If the oil level drops below a safe threshold, the generator shuts off automatically to prevent engine damage. Always check oil before each use.
Is this generator EPA compliant?
Yes. The MXR2350 is EPA compliant and can be sold and operated in 49 states. It is not CARB compliant and is not available for sale in California.

Purchasing & Support

Does this include free shipping?
Yes. Durvy Supply ships the MXR2350 free. Orders typically ship within 1 business day and arrive within 1–5 business days depending on destination.
What is the return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window for a full refund. Returns are free by mail. If you have an issue with your order, call 314-833-8000 or email sales@durvy.com and we’ll make it right.
What does the warranty cover?
MaXpeedingrods provides a 2-year warranty against defects in workmanship under normal residential use, plus free lifetime technical support. The warranty does not cover damage from improper use, lack of maintenance, or running without oil. Call us if you have a warranty question and we’ll walk you through the process.
I have a question not answered here. Who do I call?
Call Josh directly at 314-833-8000 or email sales@durvy.com. We’re a small operation in Union, Missouri — you’re talking to someone who knows the product and actually wants to help you get the right generator.

compliments to the warehouse guy that answered the phone. I was going to buy the bluetooth one, but he thought that I wouldn't use the features since it really will just sit for emergencies. So he saved me some money.
