Freight Shipping Overview

Many products sold by Durvy Supply are large, heavy, or oversized and ship via freight (LTL). Items ship from multiple warehouse locations depending on the product and supplier.

Before You Order (Freight Delivery Planning)

Customers should consider the following before ordering to ensure a successful delivery:

  • Do you have a forklift or loading dock available?

  • Is the delivery address residential or commercial?

  • Are there access limitations (gates, gravel roads, restricted areas)?

Freight Delivery Method

Freight deliveries are typically curbside delivery unless additional services are arranged. Carriers do not move items inside a building or assist with uncrating. Customers are responsible for having appropriate personnel available to receive the shipment.

Additional Carrier Services (Optional)

  • Standard shipping is free and included with every order.

  • If you require specialized delivery services—such as Liftgate Service, Residential Freight Delivery, or Inside Delivery—please contact us at 314-833-8000 for a custom quote before ordering.

  • If these services are requested after an order is placed, they will be invoiced separately and must be paid before the carrier dispatches the shipment.


Tracking & Inspections

  • Tracking: Confirmation and tracking information will be provided once the carrier picks up your order.

  • Delivery Inspection: All freight shipments must be inspected at delivery. If damage is visible, note it on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact us promptly.

  • Concealed Damage: Report discovered damage within 5 days with full documentation.
