Freight Shipping Applies to Most Equipment

Many products sold by Durvy Industrial are large, heavy, or oversized and ship via freight (LTL) rather than standard parcel carriers. Freight shipping involves different handling, scheduling, and delivery conditions than UPS or FedEx Ground.

By placing an order for a freight item, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.


Freight Delivery Method

Freight shipments are delivered curbside only unless additional services are purchased. Carriers will not move items inside a building, uncrate, or assist with unloading beyond curbside. Customers are responsible for having appropriate equipment and personnel available to receive the shipment.


Delivery Appointments & Carrier Contact

Freight carriers typically contact the consignee to schedule a delivery appointment. Missed appointments, rescheduling requests, or delivery refusals may result in additional carrier fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a valid phone number, an accessible delivery location, and availability to receive the shipment when scheduled.


Accessorial Fees (Additional Charges)

Additional freight charges may apply for residential delivery, liftgate service, construction sites, farms, schools, limited-access locations, remote or difficult-to-access areas, and overlength or oversized items. If accessorial fees are required, we may contact you for approval and payment prior to shipment.


Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Address changes after shipment may result in rerouting or redelivery fees imposed by the carrier. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.


Delivery Inspection Requirement

All freight shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery. If damage is visible, note the damage on the delivery receipt, take clear photos of the packaging and product, and contact us immediately.


Concealed Damage

If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, it must be reported within 5 days of receipt. Documentation and photos are required. Claims reported after this window may not be accepted by the carrier.


Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

Do not refuse delivery unless instructed by Durvy Industrial. Refused, missed, or undeliverable freight shipments may result in return freight charges, redelivery fees, and restocking fees. These charges may be deducted from any applicable refund or billed separately.


Shipping Delays

Freight transit times are estimates only. Delays caused by carriers, weather, mechanical issues, or regional freight congestion are outside of our control and do not qualify for cancellation or refund.

Returns & Refunds (Freight-Focused)

The item must be in its original factory-sealed condition.


Return Window

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. All returns require prior authorization.


Return Authorization Required (RMA)

Do not ship anything back without approval.

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (and video if applicable)

Returns sent without authorization may be refused.


Return Eligibility

To be eligible for return, items must be:

  • New, unused, and uninstalled

  • In original packaging, including pallets, crates, and protective materials

  • In resalable condition

Opened, used, assembled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return, but may qualify for manufacturer warranty support.


Freight Returns & Costs

Most returns involve freight (LTL) due to size and weight.

For non-defective returns:

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs

  • Return freight can be substantial

  • Original outbound shipping charges may be deducted from the refund

  • Additional carrier fees (liftgate, residential, limited access, redelivery) are the customer’s responsibility

Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected.


Restocking Fees

Returned items may be subject to restocking fees depending on the manufacturer, item condition, and return reason. Any applicable fees will be disclosed during the return authorization process and deducted from the refund.


Damaged Shipments

All freight shipments must be inspected at delivery.

If damage is visible:

  • Note damage on the delivery receipt

  • Take clear photos of the packaging and product

  • Contact us immediately

Failure to document damage at delivery may limit or void the ability to process a return or claim.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are generally non-returnable:

  • Used or installed equipment

  • Items returned without authorization

  • Items returned without original packaging

  • Clearance or final-sale items

  • Custom, special-order, or made-to-order products


Cancellations

Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled. Orders canceled after freight has been scheduled or dispatched may incur carrier charges that are the customer’s responsibility.


Warranty Support

If an item is defective, we will assist with manufacturer warranty support according to the applicable warranty terms. Warranty service does not guarantee a return or refund.
